Hello folks, got a question here for my buddy.
He has a 2000 ZR2 S-10 that just blew it's L35 4.3 v6 but he has another wrecked 2004 S-10 that has the Lu3 which a good low mile engine. So the question we both are wondering is would one have to swap any wiring harnesses for the Lu3 to work in the older s-10?
Any help and input would be great, thanks!
oh here's a mean s-10 for your time

No. Only changes are PCM type (not tune), cam, injectors and balancer. All wiring is the same.
Although I don't see why he would put another 4.3L in there... If you have the engine out, you might as well replace it with a V8.

awesome, thank you.
and that was my question too, but like i said he has another s-10 he wrecked just sitting around his yard he's kept covered and out of the weather. so for sake of use what you have, he's gonna use that engine.. I suggested a v8 as well but meh what ever.
